Employers gather in front of KC-135 jet at March Air Force Base for Employers Appreciation Event.

On Saturday, 3/19/16, Gourmet Detective owner/producer Alyssa Canann took a ride aboard a K-135 Air Reserve Refueler, courtesy of our own Air Reserve SMSgt William Ralph Griffey

As part of the 452nd Air Mobility Wing Employer Appreciation Day, Alyssa and eighteen other nominated employers of reservists boarded the jet at March Air Reserve Base for a three hour tour (nothing like Gilligan's!).  The jet cruised up the California coast where it met up with a DC-17 (also loaded with reservist employers) and proceeded to refuel the DC-17 in mid-air.  Incredible!

Thank you, Ralph, for nominating Alyssa to participate in this once in a lifetime experience.

We are honored to support the Air Reserve and our own favorite reservist,  SMSgt William Ralph Griffey.

Hey, Get Cartier!  fans, did you know that Bob Hope's very first USO show was performed at March Air Force Base in 1941?  Vive le théatre!
