The characters run the entire restaurant, interacting with audience members throughout the evening. The show is played out in four scenes with a three-course dinner served between scenes by the suspects as the mystery unfolds. Once inside the stylish dining atmosphere, patrons can sit back and enjoy a visual feast of authentic costuming, sets and live period music, or interact with the characters, ask questions and try and solve the mystery. “Murder at the Café Noir” is currently playing in Downtown Riverside. This story is a classic murder mystery set in the 1940’s and is reminiscent of the Bogart films of the 1940’s like Casablanca and The Maltese Falcon. “Darling, You Slay Me,” a murder in three acts is a theatrical spoof of Broadway in the 1940’s and currently playing in Newport Beach at The Mezzanine Restaurant in Irvine.
